Stallion: Pajon's Buccaneer

Pajon's Buccaneer is a lovely, typey Section B Welsh Pony imported from Pat and Jim Clay (Pajon Ponies) out of Alberta, Canada. Shown successful on the line accumulating 5 Championships and 2 Reserve Championships in 2004.

His sire *Cadlinvalley Pirate, was imported from Wales to the Alvesta Stud in Canada as a yearling. Pirate has been a Grand Champion Stallion in Canadian Welsh Pony Shows. Buccaneer's dam, Pajon's Royal Cameo Ring, has also been a successful show pony on the line in Canada. She has won 3 Senior Welsh Championships, 5 Reserve Senior Championships, 1 Reserve Grand Championship, and 2 Supreme Championships (1996 & 2000). His dam's pedigree includes the Downland, Farnley, and GlanNant prefixes, all well-known to American pony hunter breeders.

Pajon's Buccaneer is registered with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Canada as well as the WPCSA. He shows great promise as a sire of purebred Welsh ponies, and at 13.0 hands he would make a terrific cross for TB and warmblood mares for large hunter ponies. Buccaneer provides the looks, temperament and conformation for today’s hunter pony market.
